I didn’t plan this song. I dreamed it.
Literally—I went to bed like any other night. But somewhere between sleep and something else, I was visited. Not by a melody, but by my ancestors. I saw them. Felt them. They didn’t speak in words, but in knowing. They gave me something—a vision.
When I woke up, my heart was racing. I couldn’t tell if I was scared or inspired. But I knew one thing: this song had to be written.
That’s how “Vision in the Night” was born.
Aging isn’t just about wrinkles or wisdom—it’s a process of metamorphosis. Just like a caterpillar becomes a butterfly, we too evolve through the seasons of life. From the choices we make to the challenges we overcome, our identity transforms in ways both visible and hidden. But unlike the caterpillar, our journey isn’t always linear or understood by others. It’s messy, personal, and often filled with moments of alienation and rebirth.
Let’s be real—I’ve seen too many people switch up, wear masks, and chase validation like it’s a currency. So I wrote a rap about it. Not for clout, not for views—but because I was fed up with the fakeness all around me.
This track is personal. It’s my reaction to fake friendships, filtered lives, and conversations that feel more scripted than sincere. If it hits hard, maybe it’s because deep down, we’ve all played the part at some point. I’m not claiming to be perfect—but I am done pretending.
